7A Rice Merchants Building – Ms. S – 2012:
We’ve been Emsworth tenants for almost four years now and have been very happy with our apartment – especially the quality appliances and the speedy response to maintenance requests. We would recommend the company to anyone looking for appealing housing in Hong Kong.
14A Rice Merchants Building – Mr. B – 2012:
The flat is very livable, particularly for a person who grew up where space was not quite at the same premium that it is in Hong Kong. The flat layout really makes the most of the space, which is already ample by Hong Kong standards, and provides a very open and spacious feel while still allowing for privacy when desired via the sliding walls. The fit and finish of my flat is very professional, and some of the amenities it provides (e.g., an oven, a free-standing bathtub and tastefully hidden air-con units) are quite hard to find all in one place in Hong Kong.
While the flat did come furnished with many things built-in, there was also room to accommodate an additional desk, bookcases and a few other large items. In addition to the space and the finish, the view from my flat is simply unbeatable: I have an unobstructed, panoramic view of the harbor and the green Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park, which is literally just across the street. I frequently use the facilities at the Park, especially the brand new pool there, and I am minutes from all kinds of transportation.
In my three-year stay at the flat, problems have been rare. However, in the extremely rare instance of leaks or appliance malfunctions, Emsworth has been extremely responsive and supportive. While I would have no hesitation in recommending this property or its management to anyone I know, I would recommend it particularly highly to Western expatriates and to people with an active lifestyle.
24A Tung Hey Building – Mr. G – 2012:
I’ve been a satisfied tenant of Emsworth for over 3 years. The flat is in a very convenient location and had just been renovated prior to my move. The overall finish was to an exceptional standard and the use of space, modern appliances and contemporary design was far superior to equivalent properties. The service provided by Emsworth has been to a similar high standard. The few niggles that have arisen, such as minor repairs and maintenance, have all been handled in a quick and efficient manner. So much so, that I’ve renewed my lease and my relationship with Emsworth continues to this day.
10A 52 Morrison Hill Road – Mr. W – 2012
The flat is on the 10th floor which offers a peaceful rooftop and BBQ area that runs the whole length of the building, overlooking Morrison Hill swimming pool to the rear. The location is 5 mins from Times Square and 3 mins from Happy Valley Race Track so transport, shopping and recreation are all very close by. The apartment has recently been renovated and is very well equipped, containing a built in gas hob, oven, extractor unit and microwave amongst more. The bathroom has both bath and shower.
I am very much enjoying my stay here and I would recommend Emsworth as a landlord to anyone seeking rental accommodation. Emsworth are friendly and responsive and go the extra mile with the finer details, a good example, being how instruction manuals for every appliance (TV, built in aircon units, fridge, microwave, BBQ etc are neatly filed away in a white folder). I also had a couch and coffee table of my own which Emsworth were very accommodative in allowing me to use. In summary, I am very pleased with the apartment and the service.
24B Hing Bong Mansion – Mr. F – 2012
One of the major benefits of this flat is its location. Shops, restaurants and bars are all in walking distance as well as bus stops to Kowloon and to the Airport which, for people like me, is very important as I’m traveling almost every week. The flat is cozy and warm. What I personally really appreciate is the brightness of the apartment – even if it’s raining or cloudy outside, the room still gives you a welcome and comfortable feeling…I’m still happy with the flat and I appreciate the cooperation we had with some issues.
G/F 10B Coastline Villa – Mr. S – 2012
We were living in a flat in Discovery Bay with both of our kids for over two years. We all enjoyed the time very much, especially as the flat is well suited for kids with its rare backyard space, either for a small swimming pool or a basketball stand. The spacious front terrace is inviting for enjoyable outdoor dinners. But the best aspect is the quiet location with the shuttle bus stop right beside the building to reach all facilities within three minutes, if we were too lazy to do the eight minute walk to the ferry pier. This flat has just the perfect location.
Bonnie Doon – Camden Head, Near Port Macquarie, NSW, Australia:
What a great location and wonderful ocean views. Nice and close to the beaches and National Park. The accommodation is well appointed – nice large bedrooms and decor. We enjoyed our stay here. Verandah very nice to relax and take in ocean views and seabreezes (Sharon, Paul and Sarah – October 2014)
We’ve had a lovely return to the Headland after years away in Malaysia. Our stay was to visit my in-laws for an 80th birthday celebration. This house is in a perfect spot and in perfect condition. I love the attention to detail. We hope to return for more sunshine and surf. Thanks! (Nicole and Mark – August 2014)
We had a fantastic two week Easter School Holiday here. The Camden Haven area is an amazing place and is so picturesque, unspoilt and has a real holiday feel. We have enjoyed many a day exploring the local beaches with the most amazing rockpools! Plus runs along Dunbogan (South) Beach and boogie boarding at North Haven Beach. Lots of other fab things to do – horseriding at Bellrowan Valley, Timbertown, Billabong Zoo, Sea Acres Rainforest Centre, North Brother Mountain view/walk, Tacking Point Lighthouse and Flynn’s Beach (great for kids). Plus don’t forget Kattang National Park – fab walks and a must to do! The accommodation has been perfect for us and such amazing views and sounds of the ocean. A brilliant and relaxing holiday 🙂 (Mark, Karen, James and Sienna)
